Steven J. Sasson, Inventor of the Digital Camera
Steven J. Sasson was born on July 4, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He’s an American electrical engineer and inventor of the digital camera. The invention process began in 1975. Steven Sasson received a grueling assignment from his Boss, Gareth A Lloyd, at the Eastment Kodak company. Sasson was to conduct a research answering whether or not it was possible to construct a camera using solid state electronics, solid state imagers, and an electronic sensor known as a charge coupled device (CCD) that gathers optical information
In 1972, Texas Instruments Inc has designed a filmless electronic camera but it wasn’t digital. It wasn’t an analog that uses electronics. After literature research on digital imaging seemed fruitless, Sasson turned his interests to what’s already available. Consisting of an adapted analog to digital converter from a Motoral component, Kodak camera film les and the small CCD chip was introduced by Fairchild Semiconductor minor in 1973. When we are in the same location or position and we would like to immortalize what we see on camera, sometimes, we unconsciously make several mistakes. Though they are not fatal, but the impacts on the photos we take will look less interesting. Even though we can later fix those errors using software editing like […]

Difference between DEP (AV, A on some camera’s) and A-DEP modes Depending on the brand of your digital camera, you may have noticed 2 similar yet different modes on the dial, called DEP and A-DEP. Great images start with great Lenses and, in many ways, an SLR is defined by the quality, breadth and scope of its associated system of Lenses. For many, Canon EF/EF-S Lenses alone are reason enough to choose the EOS System. A unique blend of the world’s most advanced optical, microelectronic, and precision manufacturing technologies, the […]
