To choose a Smartphone with a good quality camera is actually not difficult only if we know exactly what to be considered. The most important thing to decide is the image sensor of the camera which is usually neglected.
The bigger the image sensor is, the better the quality of the camera. Most cameras have sensors numbered 1/3-1/3.2 inches like iPhone 5, HTC One, Nexus 5 and etc. the better ones will have sensor image of 1/2.6 or 1/2.3 inches like Sony Experia Z (1/2.3″) and Samsung Galaxy S5 (1/2.6″), or 1/1.2 inches like Nokia Lumia 1020.
After image sensor, the second most important thing is the image resolution. The bigger the pixel of an image, the better the detail captured. Commonly, image sensor with bigger size will have bigger image resolution as well, for instance, Sony Experia Z1 has a 20MP and Nokia Lumia 1020 has 41 MP resolutions. Who doesn’t know instagram these days? This photo-processing app is installed in almost every smart phone all over the world. The way it works is simple. This app adds various filters (most of which are vintage-inspired) on photos taken with the phone’s camera, then it uploads it onto its built-in social website. It’s for certain that the results differ between smart phones, because the camera quality differs with each brand and model. But what if instagram has its own camera and no longer just an app in a smart phone?

Nowadays, a camera phone is something of a daily staple in our lives. The quality of images these camera phones can also be compared to dedicated compact pocket cameras.
But not many knows of the history of how the camera phone came to be. Officially, the first camera phone recorded was a prototype developed in 1993 by Daniel A. Henderson. This camera phone, that’s now displayed in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, has the ability of taking photos and videos.

TechnoFotografia created a concept design for the yet-to-be-announced Nikon D800 DSLR. One of the novel features dreamed up for the design is a LCD screen that can be detached from the camera and used remotely .
